Creative edits
Sometimes I find it interesting to see what modern editing tools can do to a regular photo taken by myself. It's not always successful in my opinion, but once in a while there's a result that I really like and would do well hanging on a wall.
All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.
Below are all the photos related to this travel experience including the relevant link to the shop.
Radiant flower
A couple of years ago we had some amazing petunia flowers on our balcony in Hilversum, the Netherlands. I found this photo to be a great candidate to make it a bit more vibrant so I used the radiant and glow effect in Topaz software to create this look.
Brilliant treasure
The treasure flower or Gazania is already a beautiful flower by itself. Even though the regular photo I took is great, I decided to create this brilliance look by using Topaz software.
Blossoming tree
If I could paint, I would have liked to create something like this. Instead, I used Topaz software to turn a photo I took of a magnolia tree into a painting. I love how the pink and red colours came out really well.
Simply soft thistles
The original photo of some thistles in blooming heather fields is hardly recognisable anymore. I used Topaz software to turn it into this soft aquarel painting look. The soft pastel tones really work well I think.
Mayan static dandelion
I really loved the way this image art turned out by using Topaz software. It is based on a regular photo I took of a dandelion near our home in Huizen, the Netherlands.
Neon dandelion
I love dandelions, especially after they have bloomed. The fluffy little seeds still on the stem look really beautiful. I decided to turn a photo I made into a neon look and I think it really turned out nice. Topaz software was used to create this neon look.
Abstract berries
While on our daily walk I noticed the bright orange berries on a tree and wondered how they would look if painted. Since I'm not a painter I used Topaz software to create this abstract version of the photo I took.
Into the light
Based on an ordinary clematis flower in our garden in the town of Huizen, the Netherlands. This edit really brings out the vibrant purple colour and gives it a pleasant look. Topaz software was used to create this.
The pink rose
Once in a while I'd like to play around with a regular photo trying to make it more artsy. This regular pink rose in a vase looked really beautiful and was the perfect target for some digital editing. I think it turned out really nice. The radiant filter in Topaz software was used to create the effect.
Radiant waterfall
This radiant waterfall is based on a regular photo of the large waterfall in Burgers' Zoo near the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands. Editing has been done using Topaz software, more specifically by using the radiant filter.
Radiant fishies
Radiant fishies is based on a photo made in the Ocean part of Burgers' Zoo near the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands. The radiant filter in Topaz software was used to create the effect.
