Upper Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA
Our expectations for our visit to Upper Antelope Canyon in the summer of 2019 were quite high. We had already seen so many beautiful photos, and read so many enthusiastic reactions from people who had visited this slot canyon, it had to be something very special. We were not disappointed! The shapes of the walls, the colors, the sunlight that comes in, it was really a wonderful experience to see this.
We were glad we made a reservation, because the jeeps in which we drove to the canyon were completely full. We found it to be very busy inside the canyon too, especially since the people that had walked all the way to end had to return the same way. Fortunately, the visitors were very considerate of each other, and everyone got the chance to take a number of photos. The advice that the guide gave came in very handy, he knew exactly where the best pictures could be taken and even made a few of us.
All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.

The back entrance
All in all it took about 45 minutes to get through the Upper Antelope Canyon near the town of Page in Arizona, USA. After so many impressions and equally many photos it was good to have a few minutes of rest at the back entrance. The way back was a lot faster but it's annoying to have to hinder people that are still enjoying their moments. It seems they now have installed a separate way back to the entrance.
