The Maldives, Asia (2024)
Both me and my wife were totally mesmerized by this paradise with its clear blue waters and palm trees. In May of 2023 we went for the first time because Delta Goodrem, our favorite singer from Australia, was going to perform there for a whole week and we were invited to come. Even though we are not people that love to bake in the sun all day long doing absolutely nothing, we had an amazing time on this small island in the Maldives. So, when she announced she would be returning to the Maldives for another week while performing three times we decided to go again. It was absolutely worth it!

A glorious morning in the Maldives
A glorious morning in the Maldives at the Holiday Inn resort on the island of Kandooma Fushi. Having coffee on the deck of our overwater villa watching the start of another beautiful day.
West Beach
The island Kandooma Fushi in the Maldives has many tropical palm trees to provide some shade. Great when walking as the sun is really harsh on the island. Here we were approaching West Beach.
A paradise beach
It doesn't get any better than walking on a paradise beach at the Holiday Inn resort on the island of Kandooma Fushi in the Maldives.
Close to the watersports center
It is not just swimming, sunbathing and beaches at the Holiday Inn resort on the island of Kandooma Fushi, Maldives. Lots of other activities are offered like snorkeling with sharks, scuba diving and sunset cruises. This here is close to the watersports center.
Boardwalk to our overwater bungalow
This is the boardwalk to our overwater bungalow (or villa as they prefer to call it here) at the Holiday Inn resort on the island of Kandooma Fushi in the Maldives. Best place we have ever stayed in.

The Holiday Inn resort is on the small island of Kandooma Fushi in the Maldives. But even though it is small there are a few beaches. This here is the West Beach view.

Really nice view of the lagoon next to our overwater villa at the Holiday Inn resort on Kandooma Fushi in the Maldives. The colour is just mesmerizing.
