Manchester, UK (2024)

A long weekend in the city of Manchester visiting friends we met earlier in the year. They showed us their city and we were quite taken by it. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us.

All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.

Below are all the photos related to this travel experience including the relevant link to the shop.

After arriving in the city of Manchester and settling in at our friend's house they took us to the lovely historic town of Bakewell. The town is well-known for its Bakewell pudding, so obviously we visited the Bakewell Pudding Factory.

Roly's fudge

Roly's fudge is just one of the many quaint shops in the little town of Bakewell, close to the city of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Even though it is quite touristy, it's a wonderful place for a visit and to have lunch.

Graffiti tunnel

While walking towards a lovely wine bar we had to pass this tunnel, decorated with graffiti. Normally I am not such a fan of graffiti but in this case it worked well.

View from the pedestrian bridge

View from the pedestrian bridge in the Castlefield area of the city of Manchester in the United Kingdom. The area is great place to spend some time, especially on a sunny day like the one we had. Great to have lunch and/or a drink.

The Castlefield viaduct is a 330 m disused railway viaduct built in 1892, which used to carry heavy rail traffic in and out of the Great Northern Warehouse, located in the Castlefield area of the city of Manchester, United Kingdom.
