San Francisco, California, USA (2019)
Two weeks before we embarked on our Pacific cruise from Honolulu to Sydney in November of 2019 we spent a week near the city of San Francisco, California in the USA. We love to keep coming back to this city as it is one of our most favourite places to go. Apart from some sightseeing in the Bay area and Napa Valley we were able to meet up with our music friends from the band Delphi Freeman.

Thoroughly enjoying Victoria Dune at Sand Point near the town of Dillon Beach in California, USA. Lovely to walk around here and take in nature with a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

We had a wonderful day driving around in Marin County, California, USA. After having visited Dillion Beach we stopped to take in this amazing view on Tomales Bay near the community of Ocean Roar.

Early morning by the pool at our airbnb in the town of Fairfax, California, USA. This was by far the most beautiful airbnb we have ever stayed in. The views over the surrounding mountains were amazing.

Sailing on the bay
In order to visit the city of San Francisco we used the ferry from Sausalito. While passing the Golden Gate Bridge we noticed many others sailing on the San Francisco Bay in California, USA.

Leaving the Port of San Francisco after having spent some time in the city of San Francisco, California, USA. While staying in Fairfax, using the ferry from Sausalito was the most efficient way to visit the city.
Bright sunset light
Travelling on the ferry from San Francisco back to Sausalito on the San Francisco Bay in California, USA. Looking at the Golden Gate Bridge is always a pleasure but the bright sunset light made it even more special.
Autumn vineyards
We truly enjoyed driving through the autumn vineyards in Napa Valley, California, USA. Even though the grapes had all been harvested the warm autumn colours made the vineyards look really beautiful.
